2-3 Pacuare River

Travel to Pacuare Lodge, a National Geographic Unique Lodge of the World accessible only via the Pacuare River. Go white-water rafting through black-rock canyons, or arrive at the lodge by road and hanging gondola. The next morning, join a birding walk. Then opt to go zip-lining or hike through the jungle to meet with the son of a traditional Cabécar shaman, an experience arranged exclusively for National Geographic travellers.
